737-787 class of passenger airliners, including military cargo C-130 planes, can maintain speed and altitude on just one (1) engine. The second engine, even a third engine is entirely redundant. Additional engines are added exactly for this reason.

Pratt & Whitney made aircraft engines that have many design flaws. Unlike GE, which makes world class engines with rarely any flaw, and running successfully, P&W embarrasses a lot. P&W did the same with the PW Geared Turbofan Engine for the A320neo, causing lot of groundings, due mid-air shutdown, failure in starting up, getting jammed and causing havoc.

What do you expect when they’re using dock tape to hold this engine together. Airbus would never do that!

Of course the company began to put emphasis on political correctness rather than doing the job right. Also the hunt for the lowest buck came into play. So now you have a nice politically correct diversified person treating these parts who knows what to say and when to say it but doesn't have a effing clue as to what it is doing when processing the engine blades. The old, overpaid, s.o.b. is retired! Enjoy your flights from now on. I know it is not politically correct, but it may be a good idea to find Jesus before your next trip. But rest easy, that the politically incorrect, s.o.b. engine parts treatment operator has been retired for almost seven years now. You now have someone who is more concerned with who is effing baby momma while they are at work processing your engine's part rather then doing it correctly. Hey can I make a suggestion?
